Vernadsky Challenge is an engineering startup competition with grant funding equivalent to €70 000.
They are interested in:
  • space technologies: rockets, rocket launch mechanics, satellites, space engineering
  • active bioelectronics: biotechnology medicine, prosthesis and exoskeletons, medical gadgets, medical equipment
The competition is open both for ideas and for projects with a working prototype.

The competition is being held since 2015 and was initiated by the philanthropist and Noosphere founder Max Polyakov. The mission of Vernadsky Challenge is to help talented engineers develop their innovative products. The total sum granted to Vernadsky Challenge winners is 220 000 years to date. 7 of 10 Vernadsky Challenge winners have taken part in CES and TechCrunch Disrupt, raised capital on Kickstarter and Indiegogo or received grants and investment from other contests and venture funds after their triumphant debut on our stage. 21 of 34 finalists have reached prototyping or manufacturing stage.
